Brio, Romitorio, 2018

£14.50

Difficult to secure vineyard land in Montalcino these days, prices have rocketed. So, wineries have been looking a bit further afield, south-west towards the Maremma, the most southern part of Tuscany. It’s still the Sangiovese grape that’s getting planted, and, crucially, still the same winemaking skills in operation.
