"The perfumes of the wine will lead you to the pleasure of drinking" That's the philosophy of this family estate based in Friuli. We can't disagree, made by two ambitious winemakers, all the wines reflects the natural characteristics of the grapes.

The talented Venica family are of Slovenian origin and, with the Slovenian border less than 1.9km away, this will come as no revelation. The estate is located in the Dolegna district of Collio in the Friuli region in the north-eastern corner of Italy. They farmed a traditional and classic Azienda Agricola with horses, cows and vineyards together with a trattoria for many generations in this stunning river valley location. Now also a superb agritourism hotel, the estate is run by brothers Gianni and Giorgio – along with recent arrival Giampaolo, Gianni’s son – and since the 1980’s they have become deadly serious about their wine-making.
